Adolescent Inpatient Program
The adolescent inpatient program at The Vines Hospital treats mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety and other emotional challenges in teenagers. We are here to help your loved one take positive steps forward with their mental health.
Who We Treat
The adolescent inpatient program treats adolescents, ages 12 to 17, in a caring setting focusing on individual assessment, crisis stabilization and aftercare treatment planning.
We provide 24-hour care and take a holistic approach to treatment that can include:
- Medication Management
- Group Therapy
- Activity Therapy
- Family Meetings
- Psychosocial Education
- Discharge Planning
The multidisciplinary teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, therapists, social workers, dietitians and recreation therapists work together to give each adolescent the best chance for success. Teams meet daily to evaluate and review patient progress.

- Withdrawal
- Loss of interest

- Violent actions, rebellion or running away
- Headaches or stomachaches
- Loss of ability to tolerate praise or rewards
